List of Schools offering ATP-CTP with "Virtual Ground"

So I need to get the ATP-CTP knocked out one of these days. Due to the Rona' it seems several schools are pursuing getting authorized to cut their normally 6-8 day classes down to only 3 days onsite. Basically they will do the 4 days of Powerpoint via webex before you arrive. Then you show up to do the required Sim work, etc. Of course there is no discount.

This is desirable for me, just because it eases the schedule greatly if I only need to be gone for the 3 days of Simulator training. Much easier than finding a 7 day period where I want to leave.

So the two schools that offer this are
ATP in Dallas - So far I haven't been able to get any information out of them on the virtual offering.

Alliance in Florida - So far they say that they don't have a schedule for this as the FAA is reviewing their offering for Virtual.

Is this just too new for the FAA? Does anyone know of anywhere else that currently offers this?

Given that it takes the FAA time to review and approve courseware changes, I’d bet it’s just “too new”.

That's kind of my thinking as well. Hopefully some of this stuff sticks around after the Rona' craze is over. As this really will be a lot easier to schedule for a lot of people. And it SHOULD be cheaper for the provider as well.

So I got a call from ATP, apparently every week the Dallas location starts this class on Monday and ends on Sunday. If you want to be Virtual you do that Mon-Thursday, then you travel Friday and wrap up Sunday night. $3795 https://atpflightschool.com/atp/ctp/
