Things are good but very hectic. Kids are involved with swimming and Boy
Scouts. My wife and I, of course, volunteer a lot of our time to the
swimming and scout organizations. Doesn't leave much time for flying. I
am running a Scout camping trip this weekend at the Pottstown-Limerick
Airport (PTW). We hope to get through many of the requirements for the
Aviation Merit Badge. I'm also trying to tie up all the loose ends for an
EAA Young Eagles flight for the scouts. It should be a lot of fun for the
scouts and I'll probably have some fun as well. :<)
As part of the trip we are going to screen the movies "Top Gun" and "The
Great Escape"...most of the kids have not seen the movies before.
I do miss the aviation related discussions from the webboard. Say hi to
all. If anyone is in the PTW area this weekend they are welcome to stop
by. We will be there from Friday at about 8pm through early morning
Sunday. Saturday would be a good time. In the morning and later in the
evening we will be on the south side of the airport at "The Roost". In the
afternoon we will be near the FBO.
