Las Vegas

Family and I are going to Vegas next weekend.
None of them have seen the Grand Canyon and would like to rent a plane and take them down there.
Prefer a warrior/cherokee.
Anyone know of a "cheap" place to get a check out and will let me take it down there?

KVGT - North Las Vegas. First Flight is pretty nice...that's where I got all my charts when I was based at VGT. West Air and Lone Mountain (I think) both have pretty nice planes (West Air's are painted like the Texas flag...that's the only draw back). The NorthTown 1 departure to V105 or V562 will take you straight over the west edge of the Canyon. I have TONS of photos of the canyon from flying between Phoenix (KIWA) and VGT. It's a gorgeous flight, that's for sure! Have fun!
