Lake in the Hills, IL, Sunday morning

[Yellowbird]

Around 9:00 or so. I was bumming around the area, visiting a few airports where I had never landed before. There were a few other planes in the pattern. As I was taxiing in, I seemed to hear a soft voice over the CTAF saying "Yellowbird". I replied, equally softly: "This is Yellowbird", but there was no reply.
Was I hearing things? Did someone recognize me?

I don't know, but if that voice ever says "Yellowbird... turn left-NOW!" you'd better do it.
