Filing Flight Plan
Bought a plane and it had a KX 155 with isolation amplifier in it. Radio went bad and used a loaner with iso amp for a week. Bought a used radio with NO isolation amp in it. All was great until we we hit full throttle, and then major static. It sounds like I have the mic out the window. I found where they say the isolation amplifier is just to drive a speaker, but could the lack of this be my problem?
