Ejection Handle Pulled
I recently had a KX-155 that suddenly stopped producing any audio output from the comm radio. Turning off the squelch would produce noise at reasonable volume which could be adjusted with the volume knob.
Not very useful so I had it in for service. It was reported that something was wrong with an internal connector and possibly a front panel switch, though only the connectors were manipulated.
Got the radio back and now the COM radio output is really loud. It is so loud at the lowest possible setting that it bleeds across the channel on the panel so that one hears it very faintly in the background when listening to other channels. The volume is adjustable with the volume knob, but only the lowest possible setting is at all useable.
Any ideas of what may be going on here? And if there are any possible easy fixes?
