I would appreciate any info from kitfox builders. I'm looking for useful load, range and speed info. Also any info on kitfox with floats uld be appreciated.

What model and engine are you looking at? The new 7 with a 912 Rotax can be built to the 750lb empty weight and give you around 800lbs usefull load. Cruise speed is around 120-125mph on 5gph. The 7 has a nice size cockpit even for big guys and is a great flying airplane. I have flown almost all of the models and I fly my friend's IV with the Rotec radial. The Kitfox kits are among the best on the market with high quality parts and great instructions. All around good airplane if that is the type of flying you want to do. Don
