I need to add a new headset or two. I average sized 10yo boys and they have been using adult headsets when we fly. I am wondering if I should have them in smaller headsets.

At what age do you typically convert from the child headsets to adult? I want to get what is best for them, but hate to buy something that is only good for a couple of years (although I have other smaller kids around that my fly with me).

What is the best bang for the buck for passengers headsets adult or child.

I use standard DC13.4s for my boys, ages 4 and 6 (and used same even younger). Set on the smallest size, they work fine.

My Bose aviation X has been the best fit on small heads I have found. It has a big range of adjustment. Not cheap but it works well and will serve both kids and adults for many years
