So how did the show go?

Spectacular! With several players who'd never played lead/supporting lead roles, and teens who'd never done serious theater beyond school productions, it was a terrific cast. 11 performances, and 11 audiences on their feet at curtain.
And the pit was superb. It's painful to close a well-oiled production.
