JFK and GA

This may be a silly question, but is it feasible to fly a single-engine prop into JFK? I have a trip coming up, and the location is a few minutes outside of JFK. TEB is a bit of a trek as is FRG (though I love that airport).

You can land there all you want. Just be sure to study that airport diagram

You're better off flying into TEB.

Check landing fees in advance, they will no doubt hit your pocket book.

The landing fee is dependent on when you arrive. It's reasonable in the morning ($20 or so), steep at peak times ($120). It used to be you could avoid the GOUGING FBOs and park in a PA space and get to the land side for nothing. Now you have to deal with Sheltair, you can contact them for a realistic idea of what charges you will face.
