It's a strategy game... very compex but simple at the same time, you play as a nation, dealing with politics, economics, war, etc... Historically accurate...

I've been been playing it for a week straight, and It's consumed me, haven't even read PoA for a week! *gasp*, and my eyes are hurting from staring at a monitor for hours...

I once did that with Sid Meier's Civilization III. After about 18 hours straight, I decided I'd better put it down and never pick it up again.
