I think the new ones don't go for much more than the buy it now price.

It could be handy when we get snowed in, but maybe not for going to the grocery since it says, "LOUD." I wondered if you can retrofit a bigger muffler but I'll bet most of the noise comes from the fan.

The local fire department has one for doing rescues on the river. It has been worth its weight in gold.

sent the link to my brother - here's his response:

"The company I work for used to have two of them... They gave them to the
Skagit County search and rescue..... They lasted a year before they crashed
both of them.... my understanding is that they are very unstable......

Kind of a bummer....they look fun to play with....."
