iTunes 10.1 Problem

I am having some problems with the latest iTunes upgrade. I am running version 10.1 on a MacBook Pro that has Snow Leopard as the OS. The problem is that some videos will play in iTunes but some will only play the audio track. All of the videos run on my iTouch which is now running V4.2.

I have tried reboot, re-synch, looking at any possible parameters. I have searched the Internet but it seems that when this has happened in the past it was happening several years ago and on Windows based iTunes.

Anyone have any ideas?

Both my kids have iPod Touch's and consequently we have iTunes on our computers. I HATE how it is always phoning home and notifying me that there is an update available. iTunes helper.exe is a curse on humanity IMHO.
