Is there a "correct" call sign for the PA-28R?

    I get called Cherokee, piper and at times even arrow. And more often than not, they also change my entire call sign... like replace 1 with 0

    The following happened to me more than once...

    "Podunk Ground, Cessna 123AB is a Cessna 152, ready to taxi VFR with information Alpha."

    "November 123AB, did you say you were a Cessna 172 or 152?"

    "152"

    "Roger. Skyhawk 123AB, taxi to runway 14..."
