Is past Trazodone use a deal breaker for class 3 medical?

After a recent introductory flight, I have decided that I would like to continue on with more lessons.
The flight instructor suggested getting a class 3 medical early on, as to not spend a lot of money to find out if there would be a problem later.
I have been reading up on the process of getting the medical.
About 6 months ago, my Dr. prescribed Trazodone to help with trouble getting to sleep. I tried the medication for about a month, and decided the “hung-over” feeling in the morning was not worth the trouble. I have stopped the medication and have found that a cutting back on coffee in the day and sticking to a sleep schedule has really helped.
Is the month of trazodone use for sleep going to be a concern for the class 3 medical?
Thanks.

Wait for Doc Bruce to reply. He'll know the paperwork you may need.

IF you can document that the usage was for 180 days or less, and not 181, HEY NO KIDDING, the AME can make the call.

If it were given for sleep and you have a letter saying that, and saying that there was no additional psychiatric diagnosis, AND the exposure was 180 days or less, then you will have no problem.

But THAT is an AND ..... AND .....AND statement. All 3 must be met.
