Well, it is around here, in Southern Oregon. After some mild winter months, we're getting snow in March. It's been falling all day long and is forecast to continue for the next two or three days! Is it snowing where you are? Have you flown in snow? It's very serene.

Current local METAR:
METAR KCHA 092053Z 19015G27KT 10SM FEW085 21/08 A2965

Warm, but windy. Was going to shoot some apps after work, but the wind and the sigmet oscar for severe turb below 080 convinced me otherwise!

Hey! Don't be complaining about the turbulance when we're up here freezing our @$$es off! :p

7 degrees C / 44 degrees F isn't exactly my favorite temperature [range].

Spring! Spring! Where are you!?!

Its been too bleeding cold around Baltimore. If I ask my wife, "Is it spring yet?" one more time, I swear she's gonna hit me with a frying pan.

well, the golf course is open here in Bahstan, so it must be spring.

Wow, +85. I miss it so....

Right now NOAA is calling us at 3. Yes, one, two, THREE, with "blowing snow" forecast for Saturday night.

Tim and Kath, how long does it take to stop missing warm spring days?

Here in Vancouver, WA, we had snowflakes the size of frisbees much of the day today. It was +2C here at 50 MSL, so the flakes didn't survive the collision with the ground. But it was pretty. And pretty cold.

IIRC March is our snowiest month on the average.

Just hang on a little longer guys. The first day of spring is March 20. Just remember that good old rat Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow so 6 more weeks of winter. One of the reasons I moved to Tennessee.

We're getting pounded with wind right now. Since Sat until yesterday morning we were getting puddles of poodles (+RA) but this aftn very cold air short wave moving through with gusts of 45--60kts with higher in the mtn passes. Tomorrow aftn is forecast to bring precip in cold air. FZ Lvl at 070 now but forecast to plunge to the surface by Fri nite. Snow to 1,000 msl. Lightning strikes already observed just north of S.F. Bay area with severe flood watches in effect (again)

Following the +RA period of Fri morning through Sat nite the wx guessers are having fits trying to predict precip amounts because the air is so cold. But another cold front is already barreling for the coast out of the Gulf of AK.

It's been a blistering 38 degrees TWO days in a row, here. I went to work in a T-shirt and drove with the windows of my truck wide open. I saw the surface of my parking lot today for the first time since December--and I think I saw some brown dead stuff along the edges of the road.

terry, crazy from the heat in Northeastern North Dakota

Snowed here this morning. Got about a half inch at the house. up the road in Leavenworth, my radio tech said his 'lower' house (1300' MSL) got about 8", and the upper house (2500' MSL) got about 15".

The chances for rain in AZ are FINALLY on the betting side!!! Looks like we're gonna get nailed this weekend. First time is almost five MONTHS (October 4th was the last recorded rain at PHX).

We had some downright CHILLY wind yesterday and tonight also. We had a bit of snow (it didn't stick) and a bit of rain finally after many many months of drought.

The cold sucks. Right now its +4C and has been all day. The last few days have been around 10-15C. This is a shocker

Probably don't need to tell you this, but watch the driving and the roads. All that oil will be very slippery, and most folks will have forgotten how to drive in the rain. I predict carnage. :(
