Dear IRS,

Enclosed is my 2005 tax return showing that I owe $3,407.00 in taxes.

Please note the attached article from USA Today, wherein you will see the Pentagon is paying $171.50 for hammers and NASA has paid $600.00 for a toilet seat. I am enclosing four toilet seats (value $2400) and six hammers (value $1029), bringing my total remitted to $3429.00.

Please apply the overpayment of ! $22.00 to the "Presidential Election Fund," as noted on my return. You can do this inexpensively by sending them one 1.5" Phillips Head screw (article from USA Today detailing how HUD pays $22.00 each for 1.5" Phillips Head Screws is enclosed for your convenience.)

It has been a pleasure to pay my tax bill this year, and I look forward to paying it again next year.

Sincerely, A Satisfied Taxpayer

COMMENTS: Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

You can have the good ol' days if you like & I'll take the taxes here & now even with the BS governmental corruption that we pay for at all levels. Our nation is still the most prosperous I'd care to inhabit, ie. we work the least to get the most ever.

National debt, what's that?

Our low class beats out the middle class in most of the world which makes our huge middle class look like royalty. I wish good ol' Mom HAD worked outside the home as she wanted to, she'd have been much happier.

And now Massof2sh_ts, is mandating medical coverage for all citizens of the state, those that cant afford it will get it free, those that can, basically anyone with 3 kids or less and makeing 48000, per will have to pay for their own or basically be fined 1000.00 per year.

At 48000 per year i dont know anyone that will have enough left over at the end of each month to pay for insurance.

Of course employers will get to pitch in 249.00 per employee, not for the employees coverage, but to finance the insurance for the poor.

Big Brother Strikes our pocketbooks again
