I have a 2 year old iPhone 5s, which is in mint condition (no scratches, dings, or dents thanks to a case and screen film), but the front glass has started to pull away from the body in one corner. I assume that the adhesive has let loose in that corner, but is there a good DIY fix? I'm guessing that if I take it to Apple, they'll want to replace the screen for $$$.

Based on further online research, it appears that the glass may not be replaceable apart from the black plastic backing, so I may have to just pay someone to replace the entire screen assembly.

This stuff seems pretty popular among people who do that sort of work. I used to fill in for a friend of mine at his cell phone store from time to time, and he always had a few tubes on hand.
