This is driving me nuts I have Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106 and more an more I am getting a message when I try to open a file or click on a link that contains a PDF/Adobe form or document. I get the standard message that IE has encountered a problem and needs to shutdow then I get the message to notify MS which I do. There are some forms I need to get to from the PA dept. of Revenue today and I just can't get at them. I happen to be going through google but don't know if that matters. What should I do? Ahhhhhhhh

Reinstall the Adobe PDF reader for a start...

Or run a "Check for Updates" under Adobe Reader's help menu. Updates tend to reset everything without a full blown installation.

Or right-click on the PDF you want to use and select "Save Target As..." and save the file locally, then open it from your workstation.

Adam, I have a few minutes today. If you'd like me to retrieve the forms for you and email them, send me the details.
