Interesting historical tidbit...

I had read in Flags of Our Fathers by John Bradley that the famous second flag raised on Mt Suribachi was from a ship that was sunk at Pearl Harbor. I found a more detailed article on the history of that flag and of LST-779 that carried it to Iwo Jima. Intersting, if you into this kind of information as I am.
