My insurance premium went down 20% this year. But the deductible on a gear-related accident went up to $10,000!:fcross:

You know you've landed with the wheels up when it takes full power to taxi.

Anything regarding gear or simply pilot error with failing to extend gear?

Apache Bob- I discovered this last year. My insurance did the same thing! Deductibles of $5000 for any incident (in motion or stopped) and $10,000 for ANYTHING gear related.
I think this is becoming a common number for twins...

Wow...the deductibles on my fixed-gear 182 are LOW. Something like $500 and $50.

I'm waiting to get my new policy. Premium dropped over $1,500 and deductibles dropped also. Changing companies. Having over 400 multi hours and completing annual training does help for some folks <g>

Best,

Dave
