No, I believe the 3200 makes it into a WAAS unit.

Yes I know the $3200 does make it into a Waas unit. I believe if you send one in that is the only option you have(no $1000 repair and keep it as a non waas unit).
For others I found the Mid Continent CDI to be for
Kln94, klx89b, 90b Midcontinent the MD-40-232(L) and for
Garmin GNC 155xl/300xl MD-40-242(L)
