Hi all,
Wondering if any independent CFIs outside of a flight school/FBO environment have added themselves to the FTSP/TSA website to provide flight training to foreign students?
I have a friend wanting to take flight training and my other friend, who is a CFII, applied for an account on their site. After some delay, and asking, he finally got an email back saying that his account was active and was able to log in.
The problem lies in the prospective student still not seeing this CFII's name in the drop down list of schools and CFIs to choose from to validate a training request.
It's been a couple of months now, pinging the TSA and also a local FAA guy that we know to help look into it. Not getting much help. Is the CFII missing something that needs to be done for his name to show up on the list?
