Icom AC-210

Anyone using the intercom function? My Avionics guy has one to plug into the severe VFR panel of my Pacer (currently using a val com 760, good enough but ancient filtering tech) and the interphone is a Sigtronics unit, seems ok, but with 210 is redundant. I also have a PS engineering 1000 I aquired for nothing, so that is an option as well.

Any direct experience?

Indirect but analogous experience; my plane came with a sigtronics, but I pulled it and just use the integrated intercom in my gtr 225. Fewer boxes/wires = good.
