Hey everyone I was hoping someone could help me out with a question I've got. So I'm applying for jobs flying for various industries including government work (Think State department, DOD, Treasury, etc.), for which there will be background checks. I have been looking at the applications though and of course it asks "Have you ever used illicit drugs?". In truth I have, i tried pot a couple of time (maybe 4-5) as a junior in high school (Age 16), it was a youthful indiscretion and one that I regret. I'm now 22 and haven't touched drugs since then. What I wonder is do i disclose having tried pot? Do i not say anything? Is there a statue of limitations where it doesn't matter anymore? Any thoughts are great.
