This is why you make damn sure to look at the transmit lights before you start bashing the controllers....
 
Not sure what the number is going to do. He already told him of his hot mike and I didn't hear any pilot deviation. Guess he just wants to chat about the quality of controllers at his facility. :)

In the Air Carrier world if it would have been a PD the ATC facility would file the deviation through ATQA and a report sent to the air carrier's POI. The POI would assign the PD to the fleet APM (Aircrew Program Manager) and he would take care of it.

More than likely the controller just wanted to talk to the pilot about the conversation and suggest next time he be a bit more careful. And probably have that talk about the quality of the controllers. :rolleyes:
