HUGE RC model plane

a while ago, i was getting into RC and had a bunch of old magazines from the late 90's. there was a pretty interesting article in one warning the scale model builders to quit making em so big so as to avoid crossing into the FAA's regulatory realm.

I fooled around with large model rockets for a while. Here is a 1/3 scale V2 flight and crash.

Note the last picture where they are standing by the engine of the V2. After 9/11 these guys got really hammered by regulation.
