http://aviationweather.gov seems to be slow for several weeks now- I often get an error that IE8 can't connect to the site. www.weather.gov works fine as does just about everything else. Running Win XP Pro, SP III.

Any ideas what is going on?

No idea, but I have experienced that as well. Change in browser, connection makes no difference. Seems a little better just lately.

I haven't noticed any problem/slowness recently that is different than in the past. (and no, I don't get connect errors).
