Houston area airports

Hey everyone! I've been a lurker on this board for awhile, but have recently re-located from Montana to Texas....I know, sympathy accepted. Anyone got any recommendations for aircraft rentals in the Houston area and north? Or any inside links on weekend fly-ins, etc? Any info is appreciated!

Where in Houston are you located? You said, "north," but in Houston, that can cover a lot of territory. We need a better reference so we can "get it right."
