I may be wrong on this, but I don't believe a 337 is required because the Hooker is on the type certificate.
Hooker may be on the Type Certificate, but it is by part number. The one you want to install still requires a FAA Form 337 to be filled out referecing the STC and sent to your local FSDO. The belt is a change to the original aircraft T/C.
