A co-worker was telling me about her girlfriend's husband who has always wanted to learn to fly and now for his 42nd birthday she was thinking about giving him some lessons. I've arranged to take him up this Saturday (15th) for a flight and to talk about the process of getting a license.

I think, weather permitting, I'll take him to 50i for the hog roast so he gets a feeling for the flying fraternity.
 
Good work Barry. I just snaged a cousins husband and am hooking him up with Dave Westner in Mass to get him involved and a friends son whom I am mentoring here at KLOM. So thats three for the board and I know there must be more.
 
Make sure he knows that there is a "sorority" known as the 99's. :rofl:

That is awesome that you are going to hook him up like that. Fly to eat, eat to fly. Hopefully he will continue after going up with you.
 
Good luck. Seems like half the battle (or more) is already won, seeing how it's his better half who's prodding him along.
