Hmm, A&P courses?

So I've found out that Greenville Tech offers Aircraft Maintenance Tech courses and am thinking of possibly taking the evening courses as time allows. Any pros/cons off the top of anyones head other than my using the money to take courses instead of flying?

When you own your own bird you'll save a ton of dough on maintenance.

There's another plus as well. You'll have a far better understanding of aircraft systems then most pilots.
