Hey Rotorheads

Yeah Bob.... I wanna see ya do that trick! :D

I gotta wonder how many he broke up before mastering this!!!

seriously. I have a lower end RC heli (An e-flight Blade CX/2) I have no idea how in the hell it is possible to do that. No earthly idea....

reverse pitch on the main blades. extremely high thrust to weight ratio. anything is possible...

meh - looks just like my first attempt at flying an rc helo ... totally out of control from startup to cra... shut down. ... except my attempt lasted a total of about 2.3 seconds

too bad they arent sponsoring anyone at regional glider contests...

All that with a 4mm bolt holding the rotorhead on...

I flew R/C heli's from 1977 (aka "the Caveman Days") till '06. I still fly the Realflight Sim on the computer once in a while...

The Power-to-weight and the Electronics (heading hold gyros for the tail rotor, GV-1 governors for the motor/rotorhead, etc.) have really made R/C heli's able to do Un-belivible things!

My favorite is Len Mount from England...he designs and flys Scale Turbine heli's...sometimes in an un-scale-like manner!!!

Cool vid Tony!

Chris (Maxx on RR)
