My plane has a GTX345 and I am having trouble pairing it with my tablet (nexus 7). With Bluetooth enabled on the Nexus, my transponder shows a pairing request. But when I try to connect, it won't do it. My tablet has no problem connecting to the GMA35c and I can play music but Garmin pilot will no function with the 345. So anyone had issues like this. Just asking the brain trust before I call Garmin tech support.

garmin pilot is awful in general but especially on android. You should try iFly GPS to see if it would work!

do u also have a gtn in the panel? I used to use a nexus 7 with a 345 no problem, but depending on if you are connected to a gtn may point to how you have to connect.

no, but i am an android user

Thanks to all who responded, I got it working. There is a trick, you can use Bluetooth on the android to pair it. First you turn on Bluetooth but don't pair the transponder from the Bluetooth screen. Next you turn on Garmin pilot and go to the connex page and on the 750xi go to the utilities page. From there, you can enable connex Bluetooth and pair with the transponder. You will see the pairing request on the 750xi and click ok to pair.

If all goes well you will see a green checkmark next to the paired device.
