Glad everyone walked away. The reporting actually seems pretty well done. I liked "six-seat Beechcraft Bonanza made a rough landing in a field just short of an airport" instead of some sensationalistic garbage.
 
They didn't say anything about flight plans, pretty shoddy reporting.

Ya the reporting on this one is much better than usual. That area is a pretty high traffic area I fly through it often.
 
A POA person texted me (super sweet). They only read the headline and hoped it wasn't me. I am not involved thank goodness. Plus mid airs are rare.
