Welcome; I like your location. Back in the early 1950s an uncle of mine closed his long time business in MA and moved to Florida. He and his wife found an area that was to their liking: lots of trees and other uncrowded attributes, so they built a house. Six months later someone knocked on the door and proceeded to ask, "How much are you asking for this house?"
It wasn't for sale, but following several meetings the house was sold. Uncle and aunt, having bought a considerable amount of property, built another house, nearby, for themselves. The scenario as per above reoccurred; and then a 3rd time. Uncle decided that maybe there was a buck in "this stuff," so the retired auto dealer began building houses on speculation; many, one by one. After a lot of years the area had lost a lot of its trees and gained a lot of asphalt. Too crowded, so they moved back to New England to "retire." From where? The area became known as Boca Raton.
