Heck with the Mooney - I want a Bugatti!

Stelio Frati has designed some of the most visually appealing airplanes ever to fly. The Falco and the absolutely incredible SIAI Marchetti SF-260 rival anything on the Autostrada. Even the "Red Barchetta"!
 
Gives you a lot of respect for aircraft. A TC mooney will do those speeds as will a Baron without too much trouble, and certainly without hauling down as much fuel or rubber.

Except Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen, and that footage was shot at VW's test track, I'd say there is a lot of German engineering underneath that sleek Italian body.
 
Bugattis can't fly. Still rather have this Italian sportser.

Poor choice of words on my part- in spite of it being a very cool vid, I would MUCH rather have a Mooney, or Super Viking.

Other than perhaps on delivery, I would never get a chance to drive on the VW test track, and, except for desolate stretches of highway across Nevada, there's no place one could run this thing wide open. And, as noted, 15 minutes for the tires is less than impressive (other than a negative impression).

The Mooney, or Viking, on the other hand, would turn this into a safe, every day occurrence. Ok, bring on the Mooney or Viking - somebody else can have the Bugatti.
