Here in Orlando it was 43F deg. as close to CAVU as it gets and wind 300@5. Since I had fallen out of currency, I went down to the airport (KORL) and shot three landings. What a great day! Normally I'm at about 400' MSL at the airport perimiter, today, 750'. I could maintain 100KIAS at pattern altitude with 1900RPM. Boy does cold, dry air make for a happy airplane!
Also, even though I haven't flown since July, I did three quite good landings - on the first I couldn't tell when I touched.
I'm just happy to be flying and wanted to share.
