Granny lands good

I'm inspired by this lady... strong, proud and awesome nature.

I love this statement:
"It just quit," said Hanner. "When the propeller on the front of the plane goes around, it keeps the pilot cool. But when it stops, that's when the pilot starts to sweat."

:D

Is this the same one where the reason the engine stopped was that she RAN OUT OF FUEL?

If that's the case. Yes, go Granny. Go to the FSDO and turn in your certificate!!

That would be an interesting piece to leave out. If so, I'd have to agree with you.

Looks like she was stretching the fuel a bit too far.

Looks like she was stretching the fuel a bit too far.
It does sound like it may be time for her to give up the ticket unless she can show a miscalculation not likely to happen again. That would largely depend on how far she tried to fly on that last leg, etc. Either way, a review may be in order if she is to keep the ticket alive.
