are not going to RDU today. Sigmets for severe turb over the southern appalachians extending all the way east to RDU. Must be some nice mountain waves and lenticulars today.

I love ADDS as a flight planning tool, the java airmets/sigmets thing is great.
Ditto!

The funny thing is... it's not one of the three authorized sources for "official" weather per the FAA. But, it's the data source for FSS briefers as well as DUAT and DUATS. Go figure!

It is nice to graphically compare the sig/airmets together. Nicer than trying to pull out a sectional "a line 30nw of GQO extending to 40se of VXV..." riiiight.

Bill your coming to RDU aren't you?

Negative. Last Friday of the fiscal month, lots of product shipping, need to be here to help herd it along. :(

Can't meet tomorrow night in PDK, company in town. :(

Batting 1000 for meeting folks lately. :(
