Good Soaring/GA Publicity

This morning Good Morning America did a bit on learning to fly sailplanes. It's great publicity for soaring, and also puts GA in a good light. I thought I'd share it with the rest of you.

Here's smiling face on her first glider flight.

One of the guys in the club took my daughter up for a ride in the Blanik yesterday.

It's good to get the national publicity, but the personal touch is way cool.

We always get new people interested in flying at the club when the local PBS station or county "What's up in NV" or "Outdoors" reruns the piece we did about 10 years ago.

I think one of our members has a copy of it.

I watched and liked it. I am always glad to get any kind of flying in the news with a positive light. I wish they would have said that you can get training in many places through out the country instead of at the one specific location but it was still good!
