Looks like a J-3 and excellent piloting.

Looks like he kicked his prop where it wouldn't get bent and landed dead stick.

That was funny they said he was NORDO and flew low across the field yelling at people. :lol:
 
Bit of Deju vu here, I did almost the same thing in a Champ once.

I killed the mags at about 50 feet and never touched the prop on the pavement. repaired (welded) the Gear mounts, replace the gear leg and patched the scrapped fabric on the wingtip and aileron and it was flying again.
