I can't figure out, how to get rid of the black bars on the sides of the video ? I'm recording with default setting 1044 HD wide screen .

Choose 1080. 1440 is a 4:3 format, not widescreen.

I'm not sure what the old info is, but from what I understand and have experienced, reducing vibration is the best way to do it.
