GNS480 DB Update

Hi All,

New member to this forum but I'm trying to figure out a GNS480 database update. I've previously done updates using the Sandisk reader and old Jeppesen Service Update Manager (been a long time since I've done the update), but I've had to update to the new 3.12 Jeppesen app. I'm now holding a corrupt database on the card so trying to figure out the way forward. Unfortunately the old Yahoo! 480 group is deprecated.

Any help?
 
update to the latest app version whatever that is
use any card reader, i used to use sandisk reader
i didnt have to format the card and never had a corrupt DB, so not sure if you format it if the app would write everything or not, but take a backup if you choose to go this route

been about 2 years since i updated the 480, so all the above is from memory
 
Thanks, I've found an older card, so will give that a try as well.
 
Is there a problem with moving files on and off the card manually?
