does anyone (pilots) have gastroparisis and how are you legally (within FAA Regs) treating it?

This is likely best answered by Dr. Bruce Chien, a senior AME based in Peoria well known for providing top level guidance and assistance to airmen for such questions.

Unfortnately, Dr. Bruce doesn't participate in the PoA forums. He is most often found as the Moderator on the APOA Medical Forum, sending an email to aeromedicaldoc@comcast.net, and www.aeromedicaldoc.com

I know it's not the same, but I have GERD and IBS, and I treat both by sticking to a mild diet (no spicy food, no greasy food, no caffeine, no carbonated beverages, NO alcohol) and I find that most of the time, I feel just fine...but if I forget, or choose to go off my diet, cue the nausea and other "fun" issues...Hopefully this will work for you...Best of luck!

First, thanks to all who replied. I'll contact Dr Chein.
No, not assoc w diabetes, thanks for asking.
