GA plane and F16 collide in SC

IR-18 and VR-1040/1041.

I don't see any TFR's around there.

Reports say the Viper pilot ejected and was picked up.

Pics show lots of pieces on the ground. ball of fire in mid air from one witness.

Damn.

Prayers for the GA pilot/pax.

I just saw that Mcfly. On or near the Gamecock MOA or training routes.

Based on news reports, the approximate crash site appears to be near the GINNE intersection and well outside of the MOA (but near IR18 as previously stated.)

The GA plane is reported to be a Cessna 150. No survivors (I wouldn't think so.)

From SkyVector.com. GINNE roughly corresponds to Lewisfield Plantation.

The database shows that the 150M was privately owned and that said owner just got his ticket in February.
Low Time Private? Might that be a contributor? How aware of those routes was he?
