I am sure that someone has done it before but are there any documented trips and/or records? Has anybody on here ever bummed multiple rides from people that they didn't know? How far did you travel?
I'm reading about people who have traveled the world with a simple thumb up. One went from LA to Melbourne without spending a single $ on traveling. In theory one could do the same with GA. Trying to get a ride across the ocean would prove quite difficult though.
