G3X temp probe

I have a temp probe installed and connected to my GTX335 TPNDR. I have to install the G3X temp probe now. Is there any sense in keeping the transponder temp probe. Will I get density altitude from the G3X ?

Can't answer your question about keeping the probe for the transponder, but yes the G3X will give density altitude, TAS, and winds.

The only temp probe I have is pinned to the GSU-25.
