In college I had a girlfriend who apparently had a pretty sheltered life and was kinda straight laced. Swearing around her was a complete no-no, even the milder forms that refer to animal waste products. So it was rather surprising when she started using the word crap in general conversations, but at first I just assumed she had decided to loosen up a bit. This was an intelligent (at least for a college freshman) young woman (and it was during the late 60's when many women didn't swear in pubilc) in but it turned out she had no idea what the word meant and had just overheard it a few times from other students in her dorm. When I told her the meaning she was terribly embarrassed but thankful.

Seems that she and the little girl in the video had something in common?
