I have a brand new Bose PRU 57 headset for sale. Feel free to email me at pittles@gmail.com if you are interested. I also have a set of new dave clarks for sale too. Can send pictures of both.

I'm always interested in securing an additional pair of David Clark headsets...
How much and which model?

Can you post pictures?

The DC headset is a h10-76 and I would sell it for 200 plus shipping.I don't know how to post pictures on here, but I can email them if you are interested.

Brand new Dave Clark's going for $25 on ebay?? I guess I'll hang on to them.

As for the PRU 57 headset, pretty sure it is for aviation...

A “variable family” nomenclature for the ANR
system has been established and designated as
“headset electrical,” active noise reduction,
PRU-57(V)/P. The four versions currently
on contract are the:
(1) HGU-55/P helmet version preliminarily
designated as PRU-57(V)1/P, (2) the headset
version preliminarily designated as PRU-57(V)2/P,
(3) the F-22 aircraft version preliminarily desig-
nated PRU-57(V)3/P and (4) the helicopter
helmet version.

Found them in a closet in a house I was renting a few years ago, just trying to get rid of them.

I thought the PRU-57 was a Military headset. Same as the DC 10-76.....

Yes Both are military headsets...The PRU-57s were OLD MIL issued sets, and they work...with a caveat. Both the DC10-76 and PRU-57s require the lo-hi conversion kits. An average user can pick one up for the PRU-57s for about $85 from various vendors. Be aware the PRU-57s are short wires (meant to be pluged into a conversion box for ANC use), so if you buy ensure you have a long conversion cable. The 10-76 requires the Single U-174 to GA plug conversion kit ($25) plus the Electro Mic for GA ($50-70) to make it GA OR buy the David Clark lo-hi conversion which is $135+.

All said...I would not suggest buying these headsets AS-IS without taking a consession on price or unless they are offered with the conversion kit. I have three heasets (10-76, 10-76X, and BoseX) that are all military converts..each cost me $80-90 to convert. Once converted they are just as good as other equivalent DC's like the 10-14 or 10-14X and the BOSE X.
